This event happened as a part of the Post-War Art & Culture Festival, a 3-day celebration of Art and Culture in November, 2009, Iraq initiated and organized by Adalet Garmiany. Anne Bean, Anna Bowman, Chris Gladwin, Miyako Narita and Richard Wilson worked with local Kurdish drummers, local students and people affected by the Anfal, the Kurdish genocide, many of whom were incarcerated in the Red Jail.
