As part of the Liverpool Biennial 2008, the A Foundation programme set out to explore the politics and aesthetics of the contemporary imagination.
They invited Anne Bean and Richard Wilson who, using footage of Paul Burwell playing on large monitors, began the performance swallowing some of Paul's ashes washed down with Lagavulin whisky (Paul's favourite). A local psychic, Phil the Messenger, whom Anne had asked to do a séance to conjure Paul, was also present and spoke about his vision of Paul.
